Nursery Weekend

Last week was our first "typical week" since Jason's return from deployment. I went back to work after our trip, but Jason still had several days of R&R left over, so this was his first week of full duty hours. He also flew for the first time in 5months, its good to be back doing what he loves :)
This weekend we spent Saturday shopping for the rest of Peanut's nursery furniture and putting up his wall decorations. We bought his mattress and glider, so Jason put the final touches on the crib and assembled the glider. We also washed all of his linens and hung his curtains. Its amazing how real everything is becoming these days. Its very exciting, but also a bit overwhelming to think we will have our little man with us at home in just a few short months. (Pictures of the nursery to come)
Peanut's development at 29wks: He now weighs approx 2-2.5lbs and is about the size of a butternut squash. His brain is developing in overdrive these days so we are trying to read out loud more often. He is also storing up extra fat to help his body stay warm and prepare for the coming days outside the womb.
