Kaden's 1st Christmas

This was our first Christmas as a family of THREE! While we were sad that we could not celebrate Kaden's first Christmas with our extended family and friends in the States, we had a great time with our little Peanut here at home in the UK. Even though Kaden will not remember this special time in his young life, Jason and I had a fun time helping him explore each of his gifts from loved ones. Although he was a bit fussy on Christmas day, Mommy was able to capture some happy smiles from our growing boy.
I was disappointed that we were not able to attend a Christmas Eve service this year, as this is something I truly enjoy. We were also unable to find a book for young children about the Nativity, though Kaden does have a short story in his Baby Bible about Jesus' birth, which we read Christmas night.
Our Christmas day went something like this:
-Wake-up and put on Kaden's special Christmas outfit
-Take pictures while Kaden is in a happy mood (first thing after his breakfast)
-Open some of Kaden's presents
-Nap for Kaden while Mom and Dad opened their gifts
-Kaden ate morning snack and then finished opening his gifts
-Family time and Christmas dinner
We were so blessed to receive so many gifts and packages from friends and loved ones this holiday season. Our hearts are truly grateful for everyone's generosity! Kaden's favorite Christmas gift this year: Baby Einstein light and musical toy that came from his special friend, Emory.
