Today was my repeat ultrasound. I met with the same midwife as before and another internal scan was performed. Wow, what a difference 2 weeks makes in a little baby's development! Our little one had grown so much since my previous visit. The baby was moving A LOT, and the midwife kept having to chase it down with the ultrasound to get a good picture and take accurate measurements. We were also able to hear the heartbeat for just a few seconds, almost too fast for my mind to register what the sound was, but still very neat-approx 170bpm. Based on the scan today, our little Peanut is 9wks along. This puts our due date at October 6th...very close to my own birthday! Perhaps we will have to share :)
