Kaden is now 5months old! Its interesting how slow the weeks sometimes pass, but how quickly the months come upon us. Kaden continues to develop more of a personality and definitely knows what he wants. He loves to read books with Mommy and bath time is still his favorite activity. He is now kicking and splashing so much that I've had to pull the shower curtain down to block huge waves of water! Perhaps he will take after his Mom and play soccer with such strong kicks ;)
Our big transition so far this month has been moving Kaden to a hands-free sleep sac. We've tried this switch several times in the past but Kaden startles himself so much in his sleep that he would wake up constantly, making for a very unhappy and scared baby. Its been almost two weeks and he is doing pretty well, usually only waking once a night wanting his paci.
Kaden is working hard to sit unassisted: this last week, he has been able to sit alone for up to 3 mins at a time. He still is uninterested in rolling over, though we do practice every day. We still do most of our tummy time sessions on the computer, but he is definitely getting stronger and more willing to play on his mat with toys. Kaden has been more smiley these past few weeks, flashing his big gummies frequently throughout the day; such a sweet baby smile :)
