Kaden is ONE month old! He is growing and changing every day. Although he was pretty mad about being weighed, his one month weight check revealed that he weighed 8lbs 13oz and was 20 inches long! Mommy's milk makes his belly happy :) Kaden is most awake and alert first thing in the morning. He and mommy sing and talk together after he eats breakfast. If daddy is home from work, daddy gives him good morning snuggles and gets him dressed (though mommy picks out his clothes for the day!). Kaden is working hard to give mommy and daddy smiles, he has done it a few times but is not consistent...he really is a serious baby. Kaden always seems to have a thought on his mind, he has so much to discover.

Now that he can take big boy baths, Kaden really enjoys the water. He sits so nicely in his bathtub. He likes holding mommy's hand when he eats and recently started following mommy and daddy with his eyes when we move around the room. Kaden still sleeps in his Moses basket in our room. However, we are hoping to make the transition to his crib in the next few weeks because his grunting keeps mommy awake throughout the night. We're not sure if he's trying to verbalize or just making noise, but Kaden grunts constantly! Silly baby!
