The past week has been quite busy and exciting. My parents, Kaden's Grammy and Poppy, arrived for their first visit with their new grandson. Jason had been scheduled for training, so my parents arranged their trip at the same time so that I would not be left alone for 9 days while Jason was away. Wow...what a good plan we had!
Kaden is not a bad baby, but its such a relief to have family around to help! Both of my parents had a great time holding, snuggling, and playing with him during their visit. Its amazing how much Kaden changed just during their short time here in England. He is much more alert and awake for longer periods throughout the day. We worked on trying to figure out his different cries, which are not that many but can be quite pitiful to listen to for long periods of time. Kaden appears to struggle with tummy aches from gas pressure quite a bit, but Grammy spent lots of time climbing the stairs and playing 'airplane' which seemed to help relieve some discomfort. Poppy spent time reading and singing with Kaden, and both of my parents enjoyed lots of hugs and kisses.
Kaden and Mommy are sooo happy that Grammy and Poppy got to visit and hope we can see each other again soon!!
