The Latest Happenings

A lot has happened in the last 10days. First, my parents and I were able to gather most of Baby Boy's new items and pack them into boxes for shipping back to the UK. The mailing process was not as bad as I had feared. The only draw-back to our wonderful stroller/car seat is that the box weighs too much to ship via airplane, so it had to be shipped across the ocean on a boat. This is not necessarily a problem, but does take much longer to arrive here in England. We still have plenty of time before Peanut's arrival, so other than the extra waiting, it should be fine.

Second, Auntie Barbara and Auntie Brooke flew back to England with me and Peanut to explore for a week. We spent a few days here on the base exploring our local area, then headed into London for several days to check out the major sites and shows. The girls loved Westminster Abbey and we were actually able to catch a glimpse of the Queen, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry during a royal parade event! Prince William was said to be there as well, but we could not spot him as he was reportedly riding on a horse in military uniform. Peanut and the girls loved spending the evening at the theatre. We saw Love Never Dies (sequel to Phantom of the Opera) and Wicked. Peanut is moving more and more to sounds but is still definitely a night-time baby :)

Other good news, Jason may get to come home earlier than we were originally informed. No definite news yet, but he could be home by the end of the month! Wow, how time has flown by! Praise God for blessing us with our growing little man to aid as a distraction during our time apart.
